Hunter's Energy Bow

The Energy Bow looks like your everyday variety compound bow except that there are deep grooves with tubes set into them which allows the energy build-up to travel the length of the bow. When the user pulls the string it causes an energy discharge forms that has the shape of some sort of barbed arrow knoched. The bow itself tends to give off an odd greenish glow to it when the bow is about to be used. The user simply releases his hold on the string and the arrow is loosed towards its intended target.

The speed of the Energy Bow is slightly faster than that of a regular bow due to the fact that no physical arrows are ever knoched. The Energy Bow generates its own as long as it has energy to run it. Since the energy is arcane in nature, it can damage any creatures that could only be harmed by magical effects.

The bow may also be used to fire off normal arrows as long a it is switched off before the string is drawn back.
